Earthquake of Magnitude 4.8 hits Western Iran, 35 persons injured

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit an area in Western Iran on Wednesday, injuring 35 people. It said the quake struck an area near the town of Doroud in Lorestan province. According to EDIS (Emergency and Disaster Information Services) in Hungary, the technical specifications of this quake were:

According to IRNA, Iran's official news agency, via Alertnet, this quake was classified as moderate while the Governor of Doroud, Nasrollah Reshnou mentioned that some people had set up tents to shelter in.
