Update 4: Tsunami - West Java Quake - Sit Rep1
The first situational report post-quake has been released by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) at ReliefWeb and is based on information received from the UN Resident/Humanitarian Coordinator’s Office in Jakarta, Indonesia, and OCHA staff members fielded in Yogyakarta. USGS have now revised their information based on a review by a seismologist and placed the impact of the quake at a magnitude of 7.7 and not of 7.2 as stated in previous bulletins.
