No Communications, Basic Services in Pisco, Peru

It is reported that there are no communications or basic services in Pisco, Peru following yesterday's earthquake. Seventy per cent of the infrastructure has been destroyed and 200 citizens killed. With a series of aftershocks affecting the city, there is an air of nervousness and desperation. The city hospital is at maximum capacity, and there is a shortage of medicine and blood. Improvised outdoor medical clinics are tending to the wounded.
