Am sure that there's an offline list somewhere Leigh and Arianna, and we're in touch with INDECI which is the civil defense in Peru and the Center for National Operations and will work with them in publishing an online list via INDECI's website where they have been publishing the death toll and injured figures.

It's just that at the moment due to lack of communication internally, it is quite chaotic as one can imagine, once the TSF team have set up aid agencies and NGOs along with civillian access to phones, the stakeholders responding to this disaster will be communicating via the CNO in Lima and we hope to get a link from them to an online list which we'll post on the blog.

There is an online list; it is here: http://www.minsa.gob.pe/portal/especiales/2007/unidos/relacion/default.asp which can also be accessed clicking here.

The list is very small. The best informtion source at the moment is http://www.elcomercio.com.pe/ediciononline/onlineindex.html. The site is continually updated, and I suggest that you check there frequently.

i hope that this sight is still viable for the last post dated a while ago. my name is tony and i have a friend of mine who i think might be a victim from the 2007 earthquake in peru (i hope i am mistaken) however the last time i spoke to her was 2yrs ago and we lost contact since then. How can i check if she is a victim. Is there a phone number i can call on or an e-mail i can send to someone responsible who can help me? please note i do not live in peru and the number listed is only for local contacts.
